Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who has formally overseen the transition of his party from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has also coined a new slogan for his ensuing national mission.
KCR declared that “Ab ki baar, Kisaan Sarkar” will form the main agenda of the BRS in the national arena, adding that BRS will ensure all-round development of India with a focus on the agriculture sector.
KCR will be inaugurating the party’s national office in New Delhi on December 14th. He will then address the national media to give more insights into his national plans. Sources say KCR will push for a farmer-friendly government at the Centre and hence, play a vital role in national politics. This reminds everyone of Late PM Lalbahadur Shastri’s pitch for the 1965 elections in the name of ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ which won the hearts of Indians. Now, after a long time, the word Kisaan is getting enshrined as a national slogan.
